THE GEORGE THREAD MISSION
George Thread is not a living person — it's a belief.
A belief that every American shares one common thread - that we will either thrive together, or fail divided.
The name of this belief is derived from George Read, a Founding Father who signed both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. A man who despised some of his fellow Americans but did what today might seem unthinkable — he talked to them. George knew the only real way forward was through communicating with those you disagree with most.
That notion isn't dead. It's just lately been forgotten.
The George Thread Mission is to remember it.
The Five Founding Principles
1. Anyone that attempts to divide the people of the United States for their own profit and power grab is the enemy.
2. To be politically neutral is to not have a heart.
3. To refuse to talk to those you disagree agree with is to not have a brain.
4. The United States is a country that accepts people, not excepts them.
5. All Americans have one common thread - we will thrive together or we will fail divided.
