the story

My name is Borden and I started George Thread because I currently don't know of any symbol that is actively calling for unity amongst the people of the United States.

Those with political power have figured out that their power increases the more that the divide increases. Heads of news outlets and social media companies increase profits the more they purposefully pit us against one another.

For many years my work in logistics took me to pockets of the US I never expected to travel to and meet people from all kinds of backgrounds I wouldn't have otherwise. I loved every single person I met and even though I may have wholeheartedly disagreed with their their political beliefs, I do know that we all have one thing in common - the country we both call home will implode if we can't sit in the same room and passionately speak to one another without throwing a fist.

This brand does not represent neutrality or advocate for us to all just get along. What it advocates for is that we stand with those we disagree with and collectively use our votes, our clicks, our viewing + listening habits, and our dollars to remove anybody in power that actively tries to divide us purely for their own political gain or money grab.

Is another civil war possible?
Yes.

Is it too late?
Not if we stop rewarding those who are leading us in that direction.
